Refund policy

We hope you love your purchase, but if for any reason you need to return an item, we have made the process as simple as possible. Please review the details below before initiating a return.

 


 

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.

  • The item is not listed as non-returnable (see below).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Pillows

  • Duvets

If you believe your item is faulty or damaged, please see the Faulty or Damaged Items section below.

 


 

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact our customer service team on orders@whiteandgreenhome.com with your order details. We will provide you with the necessary instructions.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or damaged (see below).

 


 


Shipping Costs & Refund Deductions

  • If you return an item for reasons other than a manufacturing defect, the cost of return shipping and the original shipping fee (even if it was covered by us as “free shipping” initially) will be deducted from your refund.

  • If your order qualified for "free shipping," this cost was covered by us and will be deducted from your refund. The actual shipping costs are:

    • Republic of Ireland – €8.99

    • Northern Ireland – €8.99

    • Mainland UK – €12.99

    • EU – €15.99

    • North America – €29.99

    • Rest of World – €50.00

 


 

Customs Charges & Import Duties

  • For orders shipped to mainland UK, all customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees paid at checkout are non-refundable. These charges are collected by HM Revenue & Customs and cannot be reimbursed if you decide to return your goods.

  • For orders shipped elsewhere (e.g. Rest of World) and returned to us for any reason, please consult with your local authorities in relation to your customs charges. In most cases, it is not possible to claim a refund for the customs charges and import duties paid to your local government.

 


 

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  • Once your refund has been issued, please allow 3-5 business days for the amount to be credited to your original payment method.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. 

 


 

Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. However, if you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, please contact our customer service team immediately with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs of the damaged or faulty item

If the issue is verified, we will:

  • Offer a full refund or replacement

  • Cover all return shipping costs

 


 

Refusal of Delivery

If a delivery is refused, the order will be returned to our warehouse. A refund will be issued for the product and VAT; however:

  • Shipping costs will not be refunded.

  • If you were eligible for “free shipping,” the shipping cost covered by us (see above) will be deducted from your product refund.

  • For orders shipped to mainland United Kingdom, customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees paid at checkout are non-refundable. These charges are collected by local authorities and cannot be reimbursed by us.

  • Customers will be responsible for any additional return shipping fees.

 


 

Important Notes

  • We are not responsible for returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service.

  • If your return is lost in transit and there is no tracking, it will not be considered returned.

  • Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item and passing a quality check. Once issued, refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account.

  • Product Colour Accuracy: We do our best to represent colours accurately in our product photography, but slight variations may occur due to screen settings.
